In February 2024, we announced that we partnered with the University of New Hampshire Survey Center to launch the Literary Nonprofit Compensation Survey, a first-of-its-kind initiative for the literary nonprofit field.

The goal of the survey was to create a vital resource to help literary nonprofit organizations establish fair, equitable salaries and compensation packages for their employees. The data we collected will also help LitNet and individual organizations advocate for funding to support fair compensation in the literary field.

One hundred and eleven organizations completed the survey between February 2024 and April 2024. Participants received a free copy of the report. Others may purchase a digital copy for $10.
